Bear River is a unique town in Nova Scotia that straddles the two counties of Digby and Annapolis. This means that we do not have the benefit of a local municipal government for our village of 800 people. In 2005 some residents came together to form BRIDGS as a way to address some of the gaps that resulted from our unique status. We came together with the hope of building community bridges between the many volunteer groups in Bear River and the various levels of government as well as businesses in the area.
This Blog contains minutes and agendas from our village meetings.
